About EPICS
EPICS, Engineering Projects in Community Service, was founded at Purdue University in 1995. It's a service-learning design program in which teams of students partner with local and global community organizations to address human, community, and environmental needs.


Our Project Partner
Right Steps is a daycare facility affialiated with United Way. Their mission is to provide and advocate for quality child care and early education in efforts to improve the overall well-being of the community.

CDS Team
We are a multidisciplinary group of students involved in the EPICS program at Purdue University. Our mission is to provide innovative and practical solutions to issues faced by the Wabash Landing Right Steps Child Development Center.

Current Projects

Tactile Gear Wall
Our goal is to design a tactile gear wall that will give the children an activity to help with cognitive development and for them to have fun playing with.
